During a WWE Live Event in Hidalgo, Texas, on September 22nd, Rey Mysterio made his way down to the ring on crutches and cut a promo for the live audience.
He then announced that he will be returning to action on October 16th when the WWE begins its tour of Mexico.
Mysterio has been on the sidelines with a knee injury since February. His last match was during an episode of Monday Night RAW on February 4th in a losing effort against Daniel Bryan.
