The beautiful thing about World Wrestling Entertainment is that it always knows how to leave you guessing. Plans change on a whim, making every week of television more exciting than the last.
It appears that for the second week in a row, the WCW Icon will in fact be on WWE’s flagship show, as PWInsider.com is reporting that Sting will be on “Raw” on Sept. 7 in Baltimore.
He wasn’t originally penciled in to be on the program, but with plans reportedly changing this past Thursday, that is no longer the case.
Opening “Raw” this week, Sting put down current WWE World Heavyweight and United States Champion Seth Rolllins, saying how he “isn’t on Triple H’s level,” and that he overhypes his own accomplishments.
In the main event of WWE “Night of Champions” on Sept. 20, Sting will get his first shot at championship gold with the company as he challenges Rollins for the World Heavyweight title.
Editor’s Note
It’s always important to have a performer set to main event an upcoming pay-per-view appear as much as possible on “Raw.” Good on WWE for bringing in the Stinger for that show.
