The Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently reported that Randy Orton had signed a new deal with World Wrestling Entertainment that would allow him to skip weekend Live Events and give “The Viper” some much needed rest.

Orton has been vocal in the past over wanting to take some time off. His current role with the company also played a factor.

This new contract would have affected his status for WWE’s upcoming tour of Europe in November. Orton would only have to work the first week of the tour and not both.

It appears that these reports are false after Orton shot them down on his personal Twitter account.

Orton is expected to turn face for WrestleMania season and possibly feud with the Authority faction.

Editor’s Note

With WWE’s depleted roster, the last thing the company needs right now is one of their top stars missing time.
