Your eyes are not deceiving you…… “NXT Kids” is a real thing.

Christian Silva, who has worked on several videos for World Wrestling Entertainment in the past, recently uploaded a video to Vimeo which appears to a pilot episode for “NXT Kids.”

The show features a young boy on commentary working alongside Corey Graves, with Bayley vs. Jessie McKay and Kalisto vs. Tye Dillinger taking place on the program.

“Long Island Iced Z” Zack Ryder is also interviewed on stage by PJ Whittaker.

Silva’s LinkedIn page says he’s currently a Production Assistant in Branding & Development for the company with the following duties:

Copywriting. Scriptwriting. Video Editing.

Working with third party companies integrating with WWE to create branded content.

Produced/written/edited for PSAs, in show content, original WWE programming, TV spots, web promos, comedy shorts, and interactive promotions.

Brands include: Susan G. Komen, Post Foods, 2K Sports, Hire Heroes USA.

There’s no word on whether this series will ever see the light of day as a weekly program.

Editor’s Note

One of my writers mentioned this story to me on Facebook, which I didn’t believe because I originally thought WWE was crazy enough to have kids compete in the ring. This is obviously a lot more sensible. If I were 10 years old, I’d probably be eating this kind of stuff up.
