During a recent interview with “Inside MMA” on AXS TV, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross talked about former superstar CM Punk and his chances as he enters the UFC.

Ross believes that Punk’s interest in MMA is genuine and that he really wants to succeed.

He also mentioned how a lot of guys in the wrestling community are big on MMA and talk about it amongst themselves regularly.

Punk had appeared on the show days prior to Ross’ appearance, noting that he was roughly six months away from making his debut. He’s been cutting weight and is looking to compete at 185 pounds.

Editor’s Note

I’d love to hear Ross call one of Punk’s fights. It’s not going to happen, but I’d love it anyways.
