During a press conference in which he addressed the media over a recent incident at his house involving two burglar’s, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan revealed that he will need additional surgery.

Bryan currently has compression of the ulnar nerve (runs from neck to elbow and hand) in his right arm, with the nerve being compressed at the elbow.
The surgery will take the nerve from one spot and put it under the muscle. Bryan then revealed that he has half the strength in his right arm as he does his left.
He underwent neck surgery after the “Extreme Rules” pay-per-view to relieve pressure on nerves after losing feeling in his right arm.
There is no timetable for his return to in-ring action.
As it pertains to the burglary, Bryan said that his neighbours have been very supportive, despite him and Brianna (Brie Bella, his wife) living in their Phoenix home for only 10 days. They’ve even offered to leave their vehicles in his driveway should they be out of town.
During a recent appearance at San Diego Comic-Con, it was announced by WWE that Bryan will be writing an autobiography on his life.
Editor’s Note
With so many health issues involving his neck and arm, Bryan needs to take his rehab very seriously and make sure he’s 100 percent before even thinking about returning to WWE. Things have been on a downward spiral since WrestleMania 30 (with the exception of his wedding), but Bryan remains in high spirits. That’s a good thing.
