According to PWInsider.com, Chris Jericho will be finishing up his current run with World Wrestling Entertainment this week.
His last date is expected to be at WWE “Night of Champions” on Sept. 21 when he goes one-on-one with Randy Orton.
Once the week has come to an end, Y2J will begin a promotional tour for his new autobiography entitled, “The Best in the World,” which comes out on Oct. 14.
The following is a list of promotional dates Jericho has scheduled (h/t Wrestlezone.com):
10/14/14 7:00 PM at Barnes & Noble – Old Country Road. Carle Place, NY
10/15/14 7:00 PM at Bookends – East Ridgewood Avenue. Ridgewood, NJ
10/16/14 7:00 PM at Barnes & Noble – Richmond Avenue. Staten Island, NY
10/21/14 7:00 PM at Barnes & Noble – West Northwest Highway. Dallas, TX
10/25/14 2:00 PM at Barnes & Noble – North Dale Mabry Highway. Tampa, FL
Since returning to the ring on July 7 against the Miz on “Monday Night Raw,” Jericho has accumulated a record of 10-3 on television and pay-per-view events.
Editor’s Note
It wasn’t the most memorable run Jericho has ever had, but he certainly got a lot of bang for his buck. His feud with Bray Wyatt won’t be remembered as one of his best, though. Perhaps their Steel Cage match on “Raw” last week will sway some fans.
