The reign of Nikki Bella atop WWE’s Divas division has officially come to an end. Now, it’s time to bow down to the new queen.

At WWE “Night of Champions” on Sunday night, Team PCB member Charlotte defeated Nikki to become the new WWE Divas Champion, thus ending her 301-day run.

Charlotte had a chance to put a halt to Nikki’s record run this past Monday night on “Raw,” but due to some shady play from Brie Bella and a reversed decision by Stephanie McMahon, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair’s daughter was unable to take the strap from the champion.

As was the case in the Kevin Owens vs. Ryback Intercontinental Championship match earlier in the night, Nikki decided to work over a body part on her opponent, targeting Charlotte’s leg and knee.

Follow a back-and-forth affair, Charlotte finally locked in the Figure-Eight, making Nikki tap in the center of the ring. Her father then joined her, along with Becky Lynch and Paige, in the ring to celebrate.

Editor’s Note

WOOOOO!!! This is fantastic!! Hats off to Nikki, but the Divas Revolution is officially underway.
