While there has yet to be an official word by World Wrestling Entertainment at this time, it’s looking more and more like “Monday Night Raw” will be cancelled for Jan. 26 in Connecticut.

Justin LaBar of Wrestlezone.com first made note of the potential cancellation on Twitter:

Per NBCConnecticut.com:

“A travel ban is in effect across the state of Connecticut, beginning at 9 p.m. on Monday, as the blizzard approaches and hundreds of schools are dismissing early or closing.

The approaching storm has the potential to bring about 15 to 30 inches to areas of the state by Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, and the governor is urging residents to get off the roads and to a destination where they can wait out the storm.”

WWE would likely air a taped special or something from headquarters if need be.

We’ll have more on this developing story as it unfolds.

Editor’s Note

This could be a blessing in disguise for WWE, especially with the fallout from the “Royal Rumble” PPV last night.
