With the “WWE Payback” special event just over a week away, WWE is planning on having a solid go-home show for “Monday Night Raw” on May 27.

According to a report by F4WOnline.com, we’ll be seeing a match between Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose this Monday night.

Orton will team with fellow Evolution members Triple H and Batista to do battle with Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins of The Shield in a six-man ‘No Holds Barred’ elimination match next Sunday in Chicago for “WWE Payback.”

It will be a rematch of their epic encounter at “WWE Extreme Rules,” only this time around, there will be no rules and anything goes until one team has been completely eliminated.

Last week on the show, Rollins defeated Batista by disqualification after Triple H interfered, clocking him with a right hand. Ambrose then blocked a pedigree attempt by HHH, tossing “The Game” on the announce table.

The Shield stood tall to close the segment as Evolution retreated to the back.

Editor’s Note

Ambrose and Orton have had singles matches together before, so it’s not as if this bout is something we’ve never seen. Still, it should be a terrific match that helps solidify the build for the clear-cut No. 1 storyline in the company at the moment.
