There has been a lot of speculation that a decision on Daniel Bryan’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship will occur on the next edition of “Monday Night Raw” in Knoxville, Tenn. Bryan has been advertised to appear for the event. In the advertisement, it is noted that Bryan will respond to Stephanie McMahon’s words from last week.

Before, it looked like Bryan would likely be vacated of the title, but now it looks like he may very well keep his championship gold. For one, Bryan is scheduled to face Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Madison Square Garden on July 12. Additionally, there have been reports that he may return in time for “Money in the Bank,” which occurs on June 29.

Now, F4WOnline has provided an update on the status of Bryan’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The website has noted that word going around WWE is that an official on-screen decision on Bryan’s title will indeed be made on next week’s “Monday Night Raw” on May 26. However, there is still some talk that the angle will be carried out over the course of a couple weeks.

Editor’s Note

It will certainly be interesting to see if a concrete decision is indeed made on “Monday Night Raw.” If that’s the case and the decision is not dragged out, it’d be difficult to envision a possible scenario in which Bryan keeps the title. Let us know in the comments what scenarios you would draw up for next week!
