When all is said and done, there will be 30 participants in the Royal Rumble match at this month’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Now, we won’t get to find out every wrestler who will throw their proverbial hat in the ring before the match takes place. The WWE likes to have surprises for the Rumble, and rightfully so. Surprise entries are part of the fun of the Rumble. However, we do know eight of the wrestlers who will be taking part in the match currently…but do we also already know the winner? In short, will one of these seven wrestlers end up being the last man standing when all is said and done?
We can probably write off half of the announced participants already. All three members of The New Day will be in the match, but it seems highly unlikely any of them will suddenly find themselves thrust into singles stardom. Additionally, the days of Chris Jericho being a potential Rumble winner seem over.
However, the quartet of Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, Braun Strowman, and Baron Corbin all seem likely potential winners. Those are four big, strong guys who are pushed by the WWE as being nigh unstoppable monsters. You could see the WWE giving any of them a Rumble win.

That being said, just because they have all been announced early doesn’t guarantee one of these men will win. It would be a bit of a jump for Strowman, and Lesnar and Goldberg are part-timers. Still, if come January 29 in San Antonio one of these guys finds themselves victorious, it certainly would not come as a surprise.
Do you think one of these eight wrestlers will win the Royal Rumble? Let us know in the comments, and check out the Wrestling Rumors Facebook page.
