This Roadblock Match Isn’t as Historic as WWE Wants You To Believe

Sasha Banks and Charlotte will take their rivalry to the next level at Roadblock with a 30-minute Iron (Wo)man Match. That means the match is guaranteed to last at least 30 minutes, which is quite lengthy, even for a pay-per-view match. It also puts a lot of pressure on the wrestlers involved to keep the fans engaged. Banks and Charlotte are both top notch wrestlers, and the match is for a title which gives it some real stakes, but these two will have to pull out all the stops to make the Iron (Wo)man Match work. Fortunately, this won’t be Banks’ first iron rodeo.

Back in October of last year, Banks took on Bayley in a 30-minute Iron Woman Match at NXT Takeover: Respect. While the two women are both faces on RAW now, back then they were in a heated feud, which led to several memorable matches, including this one. How good was it? Well, you can watch it now. It’s the perfect thing to get you geared up for Banks and Charlotte to try and match the energy of Sasha’s match with Bayley, only on a much bigger scale.
