According to Wrestling Observer, WWE’s stock has almost doubled over the course of 2013, making the company worth $1.25 billion. With this huge increase in stock, Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, and Linda McMahon have almost achieved billionaire status.

One of the major factors in the WWE having an increasing view publicly is its WWE Network, which may be announced on Jan. 8. Along with the WWE Network, WWE’s impending television rights negotiations is also greatly helping out the company.

In 2014, when WWE’s television deals are up the company will likely make a lot more money when it negotiates networks for its two flagship shows, “Monday Night Raw” and “WWE Smackdown.”

There have been rumors swirling around that Spike TV may be interested in acquiring “WWE Smackdown” for its Friday night lineup as a lead-in to Bellator MMA. Although with Spike TV having “Impact Wrestling” on Thursdays, WWE would likely not want to be on the same channel as a TNA product. However, it’s always possible that with a deal with WWE, Spike TV would drop its coverage of “Impact Wrestling,” but as of now, it is all rumor and speculation.
