On the Jan. 13 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” WWE announced its first inductee to the 2014 class of the WWE Hall of Fame, Ultimate Warrior. As more and more inductees will likely be announced over the next couple of months of WWE programming, PWInsider is reporting that WWE may induct a match into the WWE Hall of Fame for the first time.

As we previously reported, WWE recently made peace with “Rowdy” Roddy Piper due to the company having interest in utilizing him during WrestleMania XXX weekend. According to PWInsider, WWE currently has the idea of inducting Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper, Mr. T, and Paul Orndorff for their role in the WrestleMania I main event. Including those four, Jimmy Snuka and “Cowboy” Bob Orton may also be inducted as those two were also involved in the match. There is no word on Muhammad Ali, the special referee of the match, being inducted.

Mr. T has allegedly been turning down WWE over the past couple of years, but the word going around as of now is that WWE and he are in negotiations. As previously stated, with this possibly being the first time a match has been inducted, it may lead to more matches being inducted down the road. Along with that, if the induction goes through, Hogan, Piper, Orndorff, Orton, and Snuka would become two-time WWE Hall of Famers.
