Since the WWE Network launched on Feb. 24, 2014, WWE has utilized its fan surveys to put out feelers for potential WWE Network shows. PWInsider has recently provided information on the latest survey in regards to some new WWE Network programs.
The WWE Network recently launched its “Monday Night War” series, and will also debut “WWE Rivals” on Oct. 14, according to the website. That series will give an in-depth look at some of WWE’s top rivalries in a documentary format.
Below are some other potential WWE Network projects for the future, which the fans were surveyed on:
1. A look at some “WWE Fantasy” matches, which have been posted on WWE.com from time to time. For example, experts would weigh in on who would prevail in a Big Show vs. Andre the Giant match.
2. A “Defining Moments” series, which would look at some of professional wrestling’s biggest milestones. A noted example is the night Hulk Hogan joined New World Order.
3. A documentary looking at the “History of WWE,” which would be in a similar format to “Monday Night War.”
4. “Love Affairs,” showcasing some of WWE’s most storied romances. Noted examples include Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth, in addition to Matt Hardy and Lita.
5. “WWE Bloopers”
6. “Superstar Lifestyle,” which would show off the houses and outside life of WWE’s performers.
Editor’s Note
I wouldn’t mind some of these shows. If done correctly, a “WWE Bloopers” show could do well, in my opinion.
