Earlier on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, WWE released Nick “Eugene” Dinsmore, who had been working in developmental territory NXT as a trainer since Sept. 20, 2013. According to F4WOnlinethat was not the only developmental release made by WWE that day.

In addition to Dinsmore, WWE has also released Matt Martlaro. Martlaro worked as a liaison between WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut and in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center. In the past, Martlaro had worked as an on-air personality for Florida Championship Wrestling. When NXT came to be, he began to work behind-the-scenes for the product.

As of this writing, WWE has not confirmed Dinsmore’s, or Martlaro’s release. However, Dinsmore did take to his Twitter account to announce his WWE departure. Also as of this writing, Martlaro has yet to comment on the release.

View Martlaro’s LinkedIn page, here.

Martlaro also has a Twitter account (@WWEMattMartlaro,) in which he follows the NXT product.

Editor’s Note

I’m sure more information will come out on the releases of Matt Martlaro and Nick Dinsmore in the coming days. Hopefully the two of them land on their feet.
