As we previously reported on the first day of September, “The World’s Strongest Man,” Mark Henry, suffered an injury at one of WWE’s live events. The injury occurred during the main event of WWE’s show at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on August 31. The original report that speculated that Henry had injured himself while making a “run-in” during the main event has been confirmed by WWE.

WWE.com posted the following story about Henry’s status:

“Mark Henry suffered a right hamstring injury at a live event in Boston on Saturday, August 31. This occurred as Henry ran in during the last match of the night. Medical imaging will be obtained to determine the severity of the injury. Stay tuned to WWE.com for any further details.”

PWInsider had also issued an update on Mark Henry’s status, prior to WWE’s confirmation of the injury. The website correctly stated that the word among WWE superstars was that Henry had suffered some sort of hamstring injury during the main event of the evening. They also reported that despite the injury, the belief among WWE wrestlers is that the injury is not serious and Henry will likely be able to work through it. Though, nothing is confirmed as of now.
