According to ComicBookResources.com, the publisher Papercutz will be publishing two WWE-related comics. The first title will be an ongoing monthly series that will start with its first issue in December of 2013. Its title will simply be WWE, and will be authored by WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley. The series will include matches, backstage segments, storylines, and various WWE superstars, past and present.

The second title does not currently have a name, but the series will be targeted at kids. The series will also be “tied in to a new WWE initiative,” according to Papercutz Marketing Director Jesse Post. This series will also be authored by Mick Foley, and is set to release in June of 2014.

Papercutz Editor-In-Chief Jim Salicrup said the following in a press release on why he chose Mick Foley for these two new series:

“WWE’s Superstars are truly larger-than-life, with the kind of personality and raw power that makes a comics page crackle with excitement. It’s the kind of action and drama that’s just perfect for comics, and Mick Foley is just the WWE Legend we need to make it happen.”
