The Wrestling Observer is reporting TNA’s continued focus on touring Impact Wrestling tapings is the primary reason TNA is facing financial issues at the moment.

According to the report, each taping is currently costing the company in the region of $600,000, and with very little increase in revenue or ratings, the touring tapings are said to be causing concern.  In a recent interview, TNA President Dixie Carter explained that if they’d made the decision to to take Impact on the road earlier the company would have faced considerable financial difficulties and possibly risked it’s future.

Despite this, TNA Wrestling continues to focus on it’s long-term plan of taping the shows on the road and there is no talk of ending the tapings any time soon.
