TNA recently took to both its Twitter and Facebook accounts, asking its fans which ring-type they prefer: the standard four-sided structure, or its rendition of the “innovative” six-sided ring.

Below is TNA’s tweet, telling fans to retweet if they prefer six-sides or favorite if they prefer the standard ring:

As of this writing, there is about a six-to-one ratio of retweets to favorites.

Here is a screenshot (click to enlarge) of the company’s Facebook post, informing fans to share if they prefer six-sides or comment for four-sides:

On the other hand, its Facebook post has more comments than shares. However, many of the comments are from people who prefer six sides, or are arguing their case.

In 2004, the company began to use a six-sided ring. However, in 2010, after adding such names as Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Jeff Hardy, among many others, the company returned to using the standard four-sided ring. The transition was made at the year’s edition of “Genesis.”

Editor’s Note

TNA needs to promote its social media operator of Facebook, ASAP, in my complete and honest opinion. It takes a tremendous amount of brainpower to realize that it would be best to poll fans with the “comment” and “share” options. Why in the world would you use that pesky “like” feature?

Oh yeah, what if TNA decides to return to using…..zzzzzzzzzzz.
