Roddy Piper Teases Something Big for Monday

As we previously reported, there have been rumblings of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper going up against Hulk Hogan in some sort of capacity at WrestleMania XXX. Piper was on the previous edition of “Monday Night Raw”, its “Old School” edition and hosted a Piper’s Pit segment with The Shield.

On the other hand, Hulk Hogan and WWE have not made anything official in terms of an agreement on a deal which would see the legend return for WrestleMania XXX. However, according to recent reports, WWE feels confident in signing Hogan as many ideas have been pitched for Hogan’s involvement in WrestleMania XXX. While Hogan was not in Las Vegas for the WWE Network announcement, we exclusively reported that he was at the Jan. 7 tapings of “WWE Smackdown” on the previous night, presumably to talk about a deal for WrestleMania season with WWE official.

As of now, there is no confirmation on if the “Hot Rod” will be appearing on the Jan. 13 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” which will air live from the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, R.I.
