On the 2nd of the month, WWE aired the first showing of “Monday Night Raw” in February of 2015. Following WWE’s “Snow Day” showing of the program on Jan. 26, this was the first time “Monday Night Raw” emanated from an arena since Jan. 19.
According to TVByTheNumbers.com, the Feb. 2 episode of “Monday Night Raw” averaged 4.292 million viewers. Surprisingly, this figure is down from last week’s viewership mark of 4.420 million, despite that show airing from WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.
Below is the hourly viewership breakdown for the Feb. 2 “Monday Night Raw.”
Hour 1: 4.466 million viewers
Hour 2: 4.403 million viewers
Hour 3: 4.008 million viewers
All three hours of the program garnered more than four million viewers. However, after steady viewership for the first two hours, there was a noticeable decrease for the third and final hour. The showing of WWE’s flagship program closed with Daniel Bryan defeating Seth Rollins, giving Bryan the right to face Roman Reigns at “Fastlane” for a chance to headline WrestleMania 31.
For Feb. 2, “Monday Night Raw” was the most-viewed cable program across the board. In addition to that, it was tied for the highest-rated program for adults aged 18-49.
Editor’s Note
The show still averaged more than four million viewers, so that is good. Still, the third hour drop, despite a huge main event, is a bit shocking.
