On the March 30 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar launched a tirade upon new titleholder Seth Rollins backing out of a title match. Lesnar’s tirade saw him hit Michael Cole with a “F5,” and turn over the announce table on John Bradshaw Layfield and Booker T. The three men would not return to the announce table, as the rest of the show was called by Byron Saxton and Jerry “The King” Lawler.

According to a post on WWE.com, all three “Monday Night Raw” commentators will return to the announce desk for the April 6 showing of WWE’s flagship program. Within the post, medical updates are provided for each commentator. Additionally, there is a tease that Michael Cole will threaten legal action on “The Beast Incarnate.”

Below is a snippet of the WWE.com story:

“In addition, Cole confirmed that he will be back at the announce booth on Raw this Monday. While he would not comment on legal action, sources close to the voice of WWE state that he met with attorneys to discuss a possible lawsuit against Lesnar.

JBL left Monday Night Raw feeling some pain in his abdomen but, as a veteran of the ring, figured it wasn’t any more serious than anything he had experienced before.

However, he explained to WWE.com that he then woke in the middle of the night in excruciating pain and went to a local medical facility, where he was diagnosed with an abdominal wall tear. As a result, he had to undergo surgery on Tuesday and will rest at his home in Bermuda. He also confirmed that he will be at Monday Night Raw.

As a direct result of Lesnar’s assault, Booker T suffered contusions and general soreness, but no other injuries. The WWE Hall of Famer also confirmed that he, too, will be at Raw.”

Editor’s Note

Whether he was just selling or lackluster on his own accord, I’m glad we don’t get to watch Byron Saxton call “Raw” again. Thank you, Cole.
