WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar will see his WWE contract expire upon the fallout of WrestleMania 31. His last contracted date for WWE is on March 30, 2015, which will see Lesnar appear on “Monday Night Raw.” With his contract with WWE soon coming to an end, there has been a lot of speculation and rumors about the 37-year-old returning to UFC. The speculation would be fueled when Lesnar was featured in the “UFC EA Sports” video game.
A recent report from F4WOnline has looked at what may be in store for Lesnar upon his WWE contract expiring. For now, word going around WWE is there is no definite sign that Lesnar will re-sign with WWE. Instead, people within WWE believe UFC has the best shot at signing Lesnar. The biggest factor for WWE is it not being in a financial position to pay Lesnar as much as it had in its past deal from 2012. Though, there is also a belief that Lesnar may use UFC as a negotiating tactic in order to remain with WWE and get more money.
When Lesnar returned to WWE on the Dec. 15 showing of “Monday Night Raw,” the “Beast Incarnate” was showing off a slimmer look. His appearance only led to more speculation about a jump to UFC because Lesnar would need to weigh under 265 pounds in order to return to UFC’s heavyweight division.
Editor’s Note
WWE would not be wise to give Lesnar the same, or higher, amount of money to sporadically appear again. Let him go to UFC.
