The Latest on the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

As announced on the March 10 edition of “Monday Night Raw” by WrestleMania XXX host Hulk Hogan; there will be a battle royal in honor of the late great Andre the Giant. Following the March 14 edition of “WWE Smackdown,” there are six confirmed participants for the match: Big E, Ryback, Curtis Axel, Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio, and Fandango. Additionally, Cesaro announced he would be in the battle royal on the German telecast of “Monday Night Raw.” However, his entry in the match has not been officially confirmed by WWE.

A recent report by F4WOnline also reveals where on the WrestleMania XXX match card the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal may take place. The website is reporting that the battle royal may very well take place on the pre-show to WWE’s biggest spectacle.

Only time will tell if the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will take place on the pre-show, before the pay-per-view goes live. However, if this is indeed the case, it would be odd placement for a match which was deemed a “major announcement” by Hulk Hogan. Additionally, the match features several marquee WWE Superstars like Alberto Del Rio and possibly Cesaro.
