On Christmas Eve, Kevin Nash and his son Tristan were arrested for a physical altercation, which would end up being classified as battery. Since then, the two have been released from prison, and the man also known as “Diesel” has stated that the ordeal was an isolated incident.
Kevin Nash was advertised for the coincidentally named “Season’s Beatings” event for Maryland Championship Wrestling on Saturday, Dec. 27. Due to the arrest, his status for the event was in question. However, despite his incident, Nash will still be appearing for the event as scheduled.
On the Facebook page of Maryland Championship Wrestling, the promotion posted the following message regarding Nash’s status for its event:
“For the fans that had concerns about Kevin Nash, He will be at Seasons Beatings tomorrow in Joppa at the MCW Arena and is looking forward to meeting and taking pictures with all of the fans that come out to see him. Tickets are on sale online at MarylandWrestling.com”
On the other hand, Nash’s scheduled appearance for the Jan. 19 “Monday Night Raw” will go in a different direction in all likelihood. Shortly after Nash’s arrest, WWE announced that it had suspended his legends’ contract until the matter is settled.
Editor’s Note
Hopefully everything has been resolved within the Nash family. I doubt he appears on “Raw,” but understand why he is still appearing for MCW.
