WWE aired another weekly edition of its flagship program, “Monday Night Raw,” on June 15. This served as the first piece of WWE programming following its annual “Money in the Bank” pay-per-view. While containing fallout from “Money in the Bank,” the program also featured the return of former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, who had not been seen in more than two months.
According to TVByTheNumbers.com, the June 15 edition of “Monday Night Raw” averaged 4.114 million viewers. This number is handsomely up from last week’s figure of 3.645 million. Impressively, WWE saw a significant increase in viewership despite NBC airing the final game of the 2015 Stanley Cup Final while “Monday Night Raw” was on the air.
Below is the hourly viewership breakdown for the June 15 “Monday Night Raw:”
Hour 1: 4.095 million viewers
Hour 2: 4.249 million viewers
Hour 3: 3.997 million viewers
For the night, “Monday Night Raw” was the most-viewed cable program. However, in terms of ratings for adults aged 18 through 49, WWE came in second place. It only trailed VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop” series, which obtained a 1.4 rating for the demographic. WWE scored a 1.3 rating, which was on par with the previous week.
Editor’s Note
Definitely impressive that WWE was able do draw in more than four million viewers for this edition of “Monday Night Raw.”
