Leading to WrestleMania 31, the status for The Usos in the WWE Tag Team Championship match was up in the air. Jey Uso was suffering from a shoulder injury, which could have very well prevented him from competing at “The Show of Shows.” However, Jey Uso and his brother Jimmy competed in the WWE Tag Team Championship match on the WrestleMania Kickoff. Though, in the match, Jey was noticeably limited in terms of in-ring action.
According to WWE.com, Jey Uso recently underwent successful surgery to repair his shoulder injury. Interestingly, the piece states that Jey worsened his injury during WrestleMania, which resulted in a need for surgery. The surgery was performed to tighten his rotator cuff and shoulder capsule.
WWE physician Dr. Stephen Daquino commented on Jey Uso’s injury, which is expected to result in him missing six months of competition:
“At WrestleMania, Jey suffered an anterior shoulder dislocation on the left arm, which was later evaluated back in Florida. It looks like [his] return is estimated [at] about six months.”
On Tuesday, April 14, Jey Uso posted the following on Twitter, saying he will come back better than ever:

Editor’s Note
That’s a shame. Hopefully Jey Uso heals up and comes back stronger than ever. I wonder what WWE will do with Jimmy Uso now that The Usos will not be together for six months.
