On Thursday, Jan. 8, and Friday, Jan. 9, TNA taped a plethora of content for “Impact Wresting,” now on Destination America. TNA taped three episodes of “Impact Wrestling,” in addition to a special “TNA Lockdown” edition of the program, which will also air on Destination America on Friday, Feb. 6.
Early on in the show, Abyss and James Storm put their TNA Tag Team Championship on the line in a match against Jeff and Matt Hardy. Storm hit his finisher on Jeff Hardy to pick up the win, and retain the tag titles. Following the match, Storm and Abyss continued to pulverize the two brothers.
After narrowly avoiding going through a table, Jeff Hardy tried to escape the “Six Sides of Steel” cage structure, synonymous with “TNA Lockdown.” Unfortunately, Hardy would leave the cage, but not the way he wanted. While on top of the cage, Jeff fell down on top of the cage door in a peculiar position. Seconds later, he was punched off the cell door, taking a nasty shot off the steel steps, then falling onto the concrete.

Many of those in attendance, in addition to fellow TNA talent, were frightened by the bump:
