Although there were multiple reports of Sting signing a legends deal with WWE, the WCW legend has still not signed with WWE, according to F4WOnline. The website is reporting that that Sting is ready to sign, but WWE doesn’t see the situation as a top priority. Internally, Sting’s deal is not seen as a major one such as the past deals for Brock Lesnar and Batista.

Additionally, the website is reporting that some people within WWE are pushing for Sting to wrestle at WrestleMania XXX. However, those with the idea are people without a high-ranking status and/or much power within the company. Sting is not expected to wrestle at WrestleMania XXX this year, which occurs on April 6 in New Orleans, La.

Although WWE may not view Sting as a high priority at the moment with current situations such as CM Punk walking out on WWE and what to do with Daniel Bryan down the line, WWE has still went ahead and drawn up ideas for “The Icon,” for when he does debut. Most recently, the idea of Sting becoming General Manager of “Monday Night Raw” has been reportedly discussed. Additionally, the company has reportedly been working on Sting merchandise, possibly branding him as “A Man Called Sting.”
