On Thursday, Jan. 29, TNA taped a plethora of its television programming in Glasgow, Scotland. The night saw a notable debut for TNA, former WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre, now known as Drew Galloway.

On the Friday, Feb. 20 edition of “Impact Wrestling,” the man once dubbed as the “Chosen One” in WWE will debut for TNA. Galloway’s debut comes following the main event match between Al Snow and British Bootcamp talent Grado.

After he obtained the victory, Grado was attacked by the “Beatdown Clan,” shortened “BDC,” which consists of MVP, Kenny King, Samoa Joe, Low Ki, and Eric Young. It would be Drew Galloway who entered the fray to make the save, receiving a large pop from the international crowd.

TNA teased Galloway’s appearance with a tweet, in addition to a news post:

Galloway would not be the only surprise appearance at the tapings, as five-time WWE Women’s Champion and three-time TNA Knockout Champion Mickie James returned to TNA.

Editor’s Note

It was only a matter of time until Drew Galloway caught on with TNA, while he worked for a number of independent promotions. It will be interesting to see if Galloway now works solely for TNA, or if he continues to work on the independent scene as well.
