With the face of the company, John Cena, currently out of action for four to six months due to a torn tricep, he has been removed from all upcoming WWE live events. He has been replaced at the live events by none other than Daniel Bryan, arguably the most over superstar with the crowd in quite some time.

Bryan, the former World Heavyweight Champion has been elevated into being the focal point of WWE programming. At SummerSlam, Bryan finally captured his first WWE Championship, only to be taken down by Triple H and Randy Orton as “The Viper” successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank contract after Triple H delivered a pedigree to Bryan. The following night on Monday Night Raw, Orton came together with the McMahon family just before he hit his signature RKO on “The Beard.”

Things have continued to not go Bryan’s way as he even caught an RKO on the August 23 edition of Smackdown. However, on the same night, it was confirmed that Bryan will get his rematch against Orton for the WWE Champioship at Night of Champions in September.
