With CM Punk’s departure becoming more and more apparent, as WWE commentator JBL wished Punk well in his future endeavors, F4WOnline has made a recent report regarding what CM Punk was upset about, before he walked out on WWE before the Jan. 27 edition of “Monday Night Raw.”
The website is reporting that another reason behind Punk’s departure was his compensation. Punk felt that he hasn’t been fairly compensated in the past for the events he had worked. Additionally, he was not too thrilled that WWE had not revealed how he, or anyone else in the company, would be compensated for WrestleMania XXX, with WWE Network launching.
F4WOnline also revealed that Punk was not happy with his status in WWE. He was upset that no matter what happened; he would not be pushed as a top-caliber babyface for the company like John Cena. This led to Punk at one point requesting to turn heel, even though he was over as a babyface. His reasoning behind the move was that he would rather be the number-one heel in WWE, rather than the number-two babyface behind Cena.
