As seen on the latest edition of “Monday Night Raw,” on June 9, Daniel Bryan was stripped of his WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Because of his inability to compete at “Money in the Bank,” there will now be a ladder match of seven participants fighting for the title at the event.
For the match, four of the seven participants have already been confirmed. These four men are Cesaro, Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, and Randy Orton. Now, according to F4WOnline, more of the field for that match may be known.
The website is reporting that word following “Monday Night Raw,” was that both John Cena and Bray Wyatt will be involved in the match to crown a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Following their match at WrestleMania XXX, Cena and Wyatt have continued to clash. Wyatt bested Cena in a Steel Cage match at “Extreme Rules.” Then, at the next pay-per-view, “Payback,” Cena was able to exact revenge, defeating Wyatt in a Last Man Standing match, which received rave reviews.
If the two are added, only one more participant would remain for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder match. Though, there will likely be a second ladder match, in which participants will fight for a Money in the Bank briefcase.
Editor’s Note
Cena and Wyatt would be great additions to this match. Depending on who would be the seventh man, Cena is looking like the favorite to take home the gold.
