The next edition of “Monday Night Raw” will be taking place in Cleveland, Ohio at the Quicken Loans Arena. The episode, set to occur on June 16, may very well feature the return of two prominent figures, according to a recent report by F4WOnline.

The website reports that The Miz will likely be returning, as the show takes place from his hometown. Though, Miz will not be alone, as it is also reported that Ric Flair would be returning alongside Miz.

As we recently reported, Ric Flair has passed his medical tests, signifying that he will be brought back to WWE programming soon. Flair returning as an on-screen character has been in the works for months, beginning shortly before WrestleMania. At one point, WWE’s idea was for Flair to remain babyface, realigning himself with The Miz. On the other hand, Flair himself wanted to become a heel character, working with someone like Dolph Ziggler.

Flair’s most recent “Raw” appearance was on the April 28 edition of the program. There, Flair sided with The Shield, who were preparing to battle Evolution at “Extreme Rules.” On the other side, Miz has not wrestled at a pay-per-view since WrestleMania XXX, where he was eliminated by Santino Marella.

Editor’s Note

While I am extremely eager to witness Flair’s return to WWE programming in a full-time role, please do not waste his return by having him return with Miz. If the legend wants to be heel and align himself with someone like Dolph Ziggler, let him do it.
