This WWE Superstar Was The Most Hated Wrestler Of 2016

These days, WWE fans are, for the most part, indifferent towards most superstars, with a few exceptions. One of those exceptions is Roman Reigns, who still hasn’t managed to get the WWE fans on his side.

Last year, Pro Wrestling Illustrated listed Reigns at number one on their annual PWI 500, which was something that wrestling fans weren’t happy about. But, in PWI’s recently released 2016 awards issue, Reigns was voted as the most hated wrestler of the year.

If you don’t understand why Reigns was voted as the most hated wrestler of 2016, then you should watch the Royal Rumble event on January 29, because he’ll likely get booed out of the arena during his Universal Championship match with Kevin Owens.

As of this writing, it looks like Reigns is going to win the Universal Championship at the Rumble, and then go on to face, of all people, The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33.
