Last Monday WWE announced that Kurt Angle, who has been away from the company for over a decade, will headline this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony in Orlando, Florida. But, we still don’t officially know who will be joining our Olympic Hero in this year’s class.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are several WWE legends who will likely join Angle in Orlando this spring, including “Ravishing” Rick Rude, Diamond Dallas Page, Beth Phoenix, William Regal, Christian, The Natural Disasters [Earthquake and Typhoon], IRS, and Theodore Long.
If you thought last year’s Hall of Fame ceremony was too long, then it looks like you won’t be satisfied with the length of this year’s, because it looks like we’ll have nine different speeches, two of which [Angle and DDP] will probably be quite lengthy.
This year’s Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on the Friday night before WrestleMania, instead of the Saturday, which is when it usually takes place. The ceremony is being moved because of the NXT Takeover show which will take place the night before WWE’s biggest show of the year.
