Even though the fans ended up turning on him in the end, you can’t argue that Goldberg’s WWE return wasn’t a huge success. At the very least, it was significantly better than his first run in WWE from 2003 to 2004.
During a recent interview with WWE.com, the former WWE Universal Champion was asked about yet another in-ring return.
Here’s what he had to say:
“Ask your boss! Hey, man, never say never, dude. Stranger things have happened. I did sit [around] for 13 years and then suddenly appear back in the ring. Let’s just say it ain’t gonna take nearly the effort to get me ready again that it did last time. So, I’ll see you on the rebound for damn sure.”
Potential opponents for Goldberg include Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, John Cena, and Braun Strowman.
