For several weeks now, the rumor has been that Kurt Angle will return to the ring at SummerSlam against Triple H. But, unless something changes in the immediate future, the rumored match between the two won’t happen this summer.

According to Cageside Seats, WWE isn’t planning on having Angle wrestle another match anytime soon, which obviously means that the Triple H match won’t happen in Brooklyn next month.

Originally, we had heard that WWE wanted to have Angle be a part of the SummerSlam card, as they’re trying to make this year’s event the biggest of all time.

Instead of wrestling Triple H, Angle will likely end up doing something with Jason Jordan at SummerSlam, which isn’t nearly as big.
