Here’s What WWE Has Planned For Tamina Snuka After Raw Return

To this point in her career, WWE officials have failed to push Tamina Snuka despite an important last name, excellent size, and potential. Before Nia Jax debuted on the main roster, Snuka had more size than anyone in the women’s division for several years. In theory, Tamina should have been a dominant force, but she was never booked that way.

In fairness, she lacks microphone ability and has been injured fairly often. Last night on Raw, WWE officials brought Snuka back in a major way. According to a report from the Wrestling Observer, the obvious rivalry is Nia Jax vs. Tamina Snuka. WWE officials are planning to book it as the battle between the “two monsters” of the women’s division.

There’s a valid argument that the two would be better suited as a tag team rather than rivals. Jax and Snuka are in the same family after all. However, WWE officials want to book them as rivals first, but there are some concerns about who goes over. Jax hasn’t received a strong push since Money in the Bank and Snuka just returned from a very long absence. All the signs are pointing to a huge victory of Tamina at Nia’s expense.

The problem WWE officials have created for themselves is Snuka defeats Jax at WWE Evolution or over the coming weeks on Raw. There’s not much else she can do besides challenge Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship. It’s clear as day that the powers that be aren’t taking the title off Rousey for quite some time. That means Snuka will put over Ronda like everyone else. What was the point of building up Snuka then?
