The rumor mill has been insane surrounding this news, and it’s been especially hot about AJ Styles. What’s most interesting is WWE hasn’t officially announced a deal between Styles or any of the other stars, but they’ve acknowledged the rumors on WWE.com, and many around the industry are all over the story as well.
WWE.com posted an article right here addressing the rumors of the company signing these talents. Wrestlers and superstars are rumored to go to WWE all the time, but it’s rare that WWE would acknowledge those rumors unless there is a lot of truth to them. The company has also posted the following on Twitter about AJ Styles:

The current NXT Champion Finn Balor, who left New Japan Pro Wrestling to go to WWE last year, has been active on social media about these rumors as well posting the following on Instagram and Twitter:

The latest update claims that AJ Styles has NOT officially signed a contract, but he’s no longer under contract with any other promotion and Ring of Honor has dropped him from several of their shows.
It’s most likely WWE is still negotiating with Styles, Nakamura, Anderson, and Gallows. However, nothing will be officially announced until WWE feels it’s the right time. The big question though is why would they feed the rumors if there wasn’t truth to them. This is still a very exciting time to be a wrestling fan.
