WWE 2K16 Finally Available Today

The wait is finally over. After months of promotion, gamers can get their hands on their controllers to play WWE 2K16. The latest contribution from 2K and WWE hits shelves in North America today. WWE fans can now play with the WWE roster to create or recreate the action that can only be found in a WWE ring.

This year’s new additions to the WWE 2K franchise include the largest WWE roster for a video game in history. WWE fans and gamers can now make their choices from current WWE Superstars such as John Cena or Paige.

There is also the choice to choose WWE Legends like WWE 2K16 cover Superstar “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and The Rock. What makes 2K16 unique is for the first time, WWE gamers will be able to use the roster and competitors from NXT, including Finn Bálor, Hideo Itami, Kevin Owens, and more.

WWE 2K16 features 125 playable characters. This roster doesn’t include the forthcoming additions in 2K’s upcoming DLC packs. WWE 2K16 also boasts a revamped MyCareer mode, which takes gamers from the developmental levels of NXT all the way through to the WWE Hall of Fame for a complete career mode never before seen. There is a 2K Showcase mode dedicated to the rise of The Texas Rattlesnake, recounting his early days in WCW through his leading role in WWE’s Attitude Era.
