Alberto Del Rio Comments on US Title Win at Hell in a Cell

Alberto Del Rio shocked the world last night by not only making his triumphant return to WWE after being fired last year, but being the only man to successfully defeat John Cena in the United States Open Challenge. At “Hell in a Cell”, Alberto Del Rio returned and became the new United States Champion.

In the video below, Rich Brennan informs the WWE Universe that new WWE US Champion Alberto Del Rio and his new associate Zeb Colter made no comment on the victory or their unexpected comebacks to WWE.

What’s particularly interested about Alberto Del Rio’s return that many WWE fans are likely not aware of is Del Rio is still the AAA Mega Champion for the Mexican asistencia Asesoria y Administracion wrestling promotion in Mexico. AAA Vice President Dorian Roldan Pena also issued the following statement on Twitter last night:

Monday Night Raw tonight is going to be very intriguing to see how Alberto Del Rio is represented in WWE going forward, who will be challenging Del Rio with the US Title, and how Del Rio will be able to work with AAA and WWE simultaneously.
