Will Triple H Be Defending the WWE Championship at "WWE March to Wrestlemania: Special on March 12

The news broke yesterday that Triple H will be wrestling on the card of “Daniel Bryan Appreciation Night” on March 25th in Madison Square Garden. The Game is set to team with Sheamus against Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.

Not that he needs it necessarily, but that will keep Triple H from getting rusty before he takes on Reigns for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania. In fact, he could be defending the championship before the grandest stage of them all sooner than expected.

WWE posted the following on WWE.com earlier today before it was taken out very quickly. It appears WWE is planning to have Triple H defend the WWE title against someone new during the “WWE March to Wrestlemania” Network special on March 12th.

The article said this before it was deleted:

“The Road to WrestleMania is heating up, but on March 12, an event will take place on WWE Network that could completely alter the landscape of The Show of Shows. “WWE March to WrestleMania,” LIVE at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
