Vince McMahon Returns to Monday Night Raw

On tonight’s Monday Night Raw, Stephanie McMahon started the night off with Roman Reigns and revealed that the only reason Roman isn’t fired is because her husband, Triple H told her not to do so.

However, Stephanie McMahon revealed that her father, Vince McMahon would make his first appearance on WWE television since “Survivor Series” of last year to personally take care of the Roman Reigns situation.

At the top of the second hour of Raw, Vince McMahon arrived and immediately came to the ring despite interrupting a match between Bo Dallas and R-Truth.

McMahon made Reigns “sweat” through a commercial break, before demanding Roman Reigns to come to the ring to face his punishment.

Ultimately, Sheamus came out to issue a challenge for Reigns to face Sheamus for the WWE Championship on Raw tonight. However, if Roman Reigns doesn’t win the title tonight, Vince will “fire” Reigns. This is an interesting turn of events for the Reigns vs. Sheamus feud.

The idea of yet another “you’re fired” angle isn’t exactly a new one, but this could be an interesting way to build Reigns into a WWE Champion tonight, or add another layer to building Reigns into a star just when the crowd is starting to warm to him last night.
