Three days ago, there was a rumor that American Alpha won’t be in NXT for much longer. The powers that be are at least talking about bringing Chad Gable and Jason Jordan to the main roster as early as this fall.
What’s interesting is Gable and Jordan just won the NXT Tag Team titles a month ago, so it’s a little strange that they would be emerging on the main roster so quickly. What’s the reasoning behind that choice?
According to a report from Wrestlezone.com, the plans for the current NXT Tag Team Champions are to be called up to the main roster by the fall, but those plans are penciled in at the moment.
The word is that the brand split is far too complex and too many plans could change by this fall that it’s premature to have it written in stone that Gable and Jordan will be on Raw or SmackDown by the end of the year.
The report has claimed that there can be plans for a talent or talents to come to the main roster for awhile, but they won’t know until just before the debut.
The reasoning there is that things can always change at the last minute, so why tell a talent that their hard work has paid off and then take it from them?
Do you think Chad Gable and Jason Jordan are ready for the main roster?
