During last night’s NXT tapings for most of May, Eric Young made a shocking debut by confronting the new NXT Champion Samoa Joe.
If Eric Young has made his debut, it’s only a matter of time until Bobby Roode follows him into the company. It’s only right that they left TNA together and come into WWE together.
According to Wrestlezone.com, it’s finally coming out why Roode and Young really left TNA Wrestling. The latest edition of Pro Wrestling Report revealed that the company owed both men a great deal of money.
Dave Herro of Great Lakes Championship Wrestling said the following about the issue:
“Bobby Roode and Eric Young left because they were owed a combined six-figures,” Herro said. “How do you not pay those two guys? You let Bobby Roode go, a guy who could have gone to WWE but he wanted to be loyal to the company. Thank God he left. He’ll be a big star in NXT. He’ll make the main roster in a year from now. Same with Eric Young.”
Herro had more to say about TNA’s current financial issues:
“I wish Ring Of Honor would buy TNA. They already have the infrastructure in place. They already have the TV deal alone. They’re already in more markets than Pop TV.”
