There were a lot of career defining and historic moments last night, but Shane McMahon jumping from the very top of the Hell in a Cell and risking it all to drive his elbow through the heart of The Deadman will be the defining image and moment of Wrestlemania 32.
It’s the ultimate tragedy that he missed and was destroyed as he plummeted through the announce table. A few minutes later, a Tombstone Piledriver was enough for The Undertaker to win the match, but Shane O’Mac won the hearts of the WWE Universe forever.
In the story of the match, Shane McMahon was stretchered out of the arena, and that leaves his status going forward in the storyline up in the air.
However, there was genuine concern from the WWE Universe if Shane was actually okay after the match and the insane spot of jumping from the Hell in a Cell.
According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com and other sources, Shane McMahon is just fine. WWE.com announced this morning that he was taken to a local medical facility after the match.
However, Shane McMahon has been spotted in Dallas today and other than suffering the effects of such a brutal match, he looked to be fine. It’s being said that the stretcher was just part of the match for storyline purposes. There is no update on when Shane will be back on WWE television.
Are you surprised that Shane McMahon didn’t defeat The Undertaker last night?
