The Dudley Boyz Turn Heel on Monday Night Raw

Tonight on Monday Night Raw, The Dudley Boyz turned heel after winning an eight-man tag team table match with The Usos against The New Day and Mark Henry.

Honestly, this is a breath of fresh air for The Dudley Boyz. Bubba Ray and Devon had a lot of momentum when they made a surprise return last year, but they’ve been used as a veteran team to elevate all other talents in the tag team division.

There isn’t anything wrong with that, but The Dudley Boyz are the most decorated Tag Team Champions of all time. Seeing them float around the midcard didn’t seem like the most valuable use of their time.

The heel turn against The Usos will undoubtedly lead to a match between the two teams. It’s most likely that we’ll be seeing that match at “Fastlane”, but does this lead to another tag team title run down the line?

The New Day obviously aren’t losing the Tag Team Championships until Wrestlemania or afterward. Both teams are now heel as well, so there really isn’t a good dynamic there.

The Dudley Boyz are better as a heel team. Hopefully, they’re not just putting over The Usos and then falling back into the midcard.
